Playin Mindy

Lovely young mare that was broken in and not worked in the last 18 months. She rides very nicely, but is very green. She had about 40 rides when last ridden, and hasn't been ridden only due to lack of contract mustering.

She is not a super quet mare, she has a cautious nature, bt mostly because she has always lived in a paddock with very little TLC. The more she gets stabled the quieter she gets, and we believe that if she were owned by a person with a few horses instead of 150 horses, it would make a huge cahnge to her outlook on life. She is kind and sweet, but just cautious abut everything. She leads off a 4 wheeler, ties up well, can catch with a nosebag in a big paddock, is good to scan, worm, trim etc..

It was decided to breed her due to us not going contractingf the last couple of years, but she is only a young mare, so could easily go back into work after foaling.

She is very pretty, and her dam was one of the best mares you would ever want to ride in the bush.

Mindy was last bred in mid February, so due for a mid January foal in 2013 to Docs Truman

Her buckskin filly by Acre Maker is superb. Beautiful nature, exquisite head, good conformation and a beautiful colour.

If Mindy is sold without her foal, it can be weaned at any time now, and will be weaned in early July in any case.
