DOCS TRUMAN

Docs Truman is an extremely attractive stud by the late & great Docs Spinifex.  With perfect conformation and a nature to match, the Stallion receives much interest and praise.  As one of Liz's favourite competition horses, the pair are often seen 'turning on the lights' in the cut out yard, winning numerous cut-outs and regularly scoring 22s and 23s.  From just 3 drafts, 2009 saw Truman receive finaling scores of 87s and 88s.  At the 2009 Burke and Wills Challenge Docs Truman placed third in the Open Dry Work section from some 80 horses. 

Truman was recently described by Warwick Schiller, one of Australia's best Reining trainers, as a pretty 'cool horse', which is not suprising considering his full brother Docs Defender made history in Australia just a few years ago from his major Reining Futurity wins.

Truman is unique that he could just as easily suit the fraternities of Cutting, Campdrafting, Reining and Halter. His sire of course is a legend, and his Dam and Granddam, would undoubtabley be 2 of the nicest mares you'd ever lay eyes on. Truman is a perfect gentleman, and one of the nicest horses anyone would wish to own or ride.

Docs Truman's eldest progeny are outstanding types and are now competing in many sports, and working in the mustering team.  His offspring are usually even bigger than Truman himself, making them wonderful horses in and out of the competition ring.  In 2009/2010 Docs Truman will be standing for Natural Services and Fresh Semen at 'Grass Hut', and Townsville Vet Clinic until March 2010.
