Rhondhu Stud will be 25 years old in 2010, and our vision has never changed.
Our Aim: To breed horses with great pedigrees, trainable minds, functional & athletic bodies, standing on good legs & feet, between 14.3Hh - 15.3Hh, with a heart to work, the looks to halter, outstanding cowsense and the ability & desire to win.
We are constantly working with our base of Mares and Stallions to keep the balance. Even though we are primarily breeding for Stockmans Challenges, Campdraft, Cutting and Reining, many of our Stallions are just as well suited to sports like Halter, Western, English, Pony Club, Trail Riding, Workhorses and Rodeo events.
Our Stallions are all alike in keeping with our vision, but so uniquely different as individuals that we can always provide ourselves and our clients a variety of breeding options for any Mare.
We cover mares by natural hand or paddock servicing at 'Grass Hut', at any time with frozen semen, or with fresh semen during the breeding season. We supply good quality semen for AI and ET programs.
We are unable to provide fresh semen for November 2009, but it will be available again from December onwards.
We are also happy to assist you with Embryo Transfer programs, working with the Vets at Townsville Vet Clinic.
